Patrick Kelley-known simply as “PK” to friends and long-time customers-was born in Mesquite and raised in Rockwall, Texas. After graduating high school in 2004, he moved to Boerne, just outside San Antonio, where he began his flooring career working for a hardwood flooring installer. There, PK learned the foundations of quality craftsmanship and the proper processes behind successful installations across multiple flooring types.
After five years in the Hill Country, PK returned to Rockwall to be closer to family. Soon after, he accepted a sales position with Floor USA, where he gained invaluable experience in sales, managing installation crews, and operating a successful storefront.
In 2014, PK was offered the opportunity to purchase the rights to Floor USA’s lease location. That August, PK’s Floor USA was officially established. Over the next four years, PK expanded the company’s capabilities and built a strong team-including his mother, Sheila, and his wife, Candace.
As demand grew and homeowners began seeking more than flooring alone, PK recognized that the company had evolved far beyond its original scope. In 2018, he rebranded the business as PK Floors Plus, reflecting its transformation into a full-scale remodeling operation offering kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, whole-home renovations, custom cabinetry, countertops, and more.
Today, PK Floors Plus continues to grow-striving each day to be a trusted staple in the community and the go-to choice for flooring and remodeling services throughout the rapidly developing areas it serves. From humble beginnings laying floors outside San Antonio, PK’s has expanded its service area beyond Rockwall, Heath, Rowlett, Fate, and Forney, now serving clients from Uptown Dallas all the way to McLendon-Chisholm-often recognized by the fleet of blue PK’s Floors Plus Design and Remodeling trucks seen throughout the community.
