San Martino Vineyards
The winemaking fermentation process is carried out in a winery where they meticulously prepare the sparkling wines, as well as white and red still wines. Their characteristic trait is the great attention to the techniques involved in the sparkling wine production process and processing of the wines, capable of bringing out the best of the fine grapes just harvested.
Don’t forget to try one of their wines. For 10 USD per person, you can come and try five pre-selected wines at one of the San Martino’s wine tastings. The winery hosts their tastings on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 1:00 to 8:30 pm, and Sunday from 1:00 to 5:30 pm. The welcoming staff will answer all of your wine questions. Starting in August 2017, you will be able to attend one of their elevated wine tastings, which features their wine with specific food pairings. These events will require visitors to pre-register.
In the historic hills of Prosecco around Valdobbiadene and the lands close to the river Piave, we cultivate grape varieties that are typical of this grand territory rich in art, traditions, and the love of wine.
In addition to their tastings, San Martino also hosts a variety of adults only events, including live music. The cultivation of grapes is added to the breeding of cows and silkworms: it will become increasingly more important in subsequent years. The first vineyards using the “belussera” technique of expanded plants, a system created at the end of the 19th century at Vazzola, were planted around the manor. The family’s activities specialise: more and more resources and attention are dedicated to the production and sale of the excellent wine.
